  •  
    1. Sign in to Daesung Skype website;

    2. Click Prices from the top menu;



    3. Select Credit or Subscription

    4. Select a purchase unit and the period then click Continue

    5. Select Foreign Credit Card from the Payment method, then click Continue



    6. Select the type of credit card (VISA, MASTER, JCB, AMEX) and Enter your credit card number and expiration date, Card security code.



    * What is the Card security code?
      The last 3 digits of the number on the back of your credit card.

     
    7. Payment completed

    *The payment will be made in KRW and charged in USD to your credit card applying an appropriate exchange rate
     
  • We do not store any credit card information and therefore you need to provide your credit card information for every purchase.
     
  • 1. Sign in to Daesung Skype website

    2. Click “Prices” from the top menu;



    3. Select Credit or Subscription

    4. Select the Order unit and Subscription period, then click Continue

    5. Select the Deposit Bank account, input your Name, email, Mobile Number and Phone number in the respective field provided and click “Continue”.

    NOTE: The bank account information to which you will remit the payment will be sent to the email address you input here, so please be sure to use legitimate email account.





    6. Virtual Bank Account payment module will launch. If the module is not installed on your computer already, it will be downloaded and installed first.
     
     
    7. Read the Terms and Conditions and tick the “I agree” checkbox, then click “Next



    8. Select the bank from the drop down menu, to which you will remit the payment and click “Next”. 
    Select one that’s most convenient for you to make remittance.




    9. Tick “I’ve reviewed payment conditions and agree to proceed” checkbox.

    10. Untick “Cash Receipts Publication” checkbox (Only relevant to Korean citizen) and click “Next”.




    11. Click “Send Order

    12. Check if the bank and account information, as well as the amount in the Amount section, is correct in the Payment Review pane before proceeding. Remit the amount to the given virtual account to via Internet banking, phone banking or conventional wire transfer to complete the payment process.




    13. Upon successful transfer of the fund, your purchase will be delivered automatically to your Skype Account.
     
    * Please remember: Your payment is completed and your purchase will be delivered to your Skype account only after you make the remittance to the Virtual Bank Account provided at the end of above steps.

     
  • "Telecommunications Business Act" of Korea prohibits the marketing and the sales of paid telecommunications services by companies that are not registered and authorized to conduct telecommunications business in Korea. Being a global Internet operator, Skype does not have such authorization from the Korean government and therefore cannot offer its telecommunications services directly to the users in the Korean territory.
     
    "Telecommunications Business Act" applies not only to the Korean nationals but also to anyone residing in the territory of Korea, including temporary visitors. That is why Skype has teamed up with Daesung to provide its VoIP services in Korea.

    You can use your overseas issued credit card by selecting 'Foreign Credit Card' from the 'Select payment method' Drop down but the payment will be made in KRW and charged in USD to your credit card applying an appropriate exchange rate. Currently we are not offering the auto-recharge feature for Skype credit.

  • Auto recharge (ATU) is a feature provided when you purchase credits for your convenience.

    If you would like to opt out of Skype Credit Auto recharge (ATU), please follow the steps below.

     

    1. Daesung Skype web page (English) Log in after login
       http://skype.daesung.com/eng/main.asp

    2. Click "My Account" on the top right of the Skype.com web page

    3. On the web page, click the Auto recharge (off) in the personal payment history to complete the cancellation.
    To turn on automatic billing again, press (ON) to activate.
     
    4. If you can not cancel your payment automatically, please contact us by e-mail.

    5. Select Korea Credit Cards from the Payment method, then click Continue;

    * Selecting Korea Credit Card enables you to use a foreign credit card that is protected by 3D verification.



    6. Read Call, and Use of Personal Info and tick the “I agree” checkbox, then click “Next”




    7. Select Korean Credit Card or click Oversea and go through 3D verification process;



    8. Enter your credit card number and expiration date and Proceed

    * Depending on your credit card issuer, you may be asked to take steps to verify your credit card for security. Please follow instructions of your credit card issuer.

    9. Payment completed
